{"id":695,"date":"2020-01-30T12:58:49","date_gmt":"2020-01-30T10:58:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakendiringlus.ee\/?page_id=695"},"modified":"2025-03-20T13:01:29","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T11:01:29","slug":"auditing-of-packaging-reports","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staging.pakendiringlus.ee\/en\/services\/for-the-entrepreneurs\/auditing-of-packaging-reports\/","title":{"rendered":"Auditing of packaging reports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The packaging undertakings who have released packaging with a total mass of over 20 tonnes to Estonian market in a calendar year are required to organise an audit of their packaging data.<br \/>\nPackaging audits may be conducted by sworn auditors through auditing companies and are provided to the packaging undertakings who have entered into a contract with the recycling organisation as a limited assurance engagement.<br \/>\nThe list of sworn auditors operating in Estonia can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.audiitortegevus.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.audiitortegevus.ee<\/a><br \/>\nThe auditor will inspect whether or not the company has a valid packaging contract, the internal recordkeeping method of the company, the packaging reports and invoices, and payment of the invoices.<\/p>\n<p>As a relief, there is an exemption from the audit for three years: if the summary of the audit report for the calendar year is submitted unmodified (i.e., without any remarks), the packaging undertaking is exempt from the obligation to conduct an audit in the following three calendar years.<\/p>\n<p>The results of auditing of packaging data must be submitted by 31 July 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Please do not hesitate to <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.pakendiringlus.ee\/en\/contact\/\">contact us<\/a> if you have any further questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The packaging undertakings who have released packaging with a total mass of over 20 tonnes to Estonian market in a calendar year are required to organise an audit of their packaging data.
